Estefanía Linuesa, Spanish academy
Given this universe of lost and blooming opportunities, I can't emphasize enough how proud I am when well-prepared, sensitive, and hardworking people like Estefanía Linuesa Torrijos decide to leap into "the unknown" and open their own Spanish academy for everyone in Stuttgart who's passionate about our language and culture.
Although I played a bit with minimalism and impacting imagery for this project, I still followed the structure of a landing page:
- Introduction, displaying a title, a picture illustrating some aspects of the Spanish culture, and a word of my choice summarizing what "learning" means.
- Features, a section with Spanish stickers and brief explanations, a graphic, and a marquee showcasing some of the main institutions Estefanía collaborated with.
- FAQs, an accordion diving deeper into the person behind the teacher without forgetting key points about Estefanía's experience, methodology, and services.
- Contact, introducing a form for those interested in the academy.
Similarly, here are some of the major features you'll find when navigating the site:
- EmailJS, a tool that helps to send emails using client-side technologies only.
- i18n internationalization, which made the integration of three major languages (English, Spanish, and German) possible.
- GSAP animations, facilitating a silky-smooth performance while keeping the UI stylish and immersive.
- Single page, enabling users to get a better understanding of the academy thanks to a clean, minimalist, and compact design.
- Smooth navigation with Lenis.
- SEO-friendly architecture.
Built upon HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, I wanted to reproduce the simplest yet most surprising platform for students to find the unmatched teacher that Estefanía Linuesa is.
